AP Govt Establishes Body For Trade Promo

Hyderabad: To facilitate speedy growth of industry, trade and commerce, the State Government has established Andhra Pradesh Trade Promotion Corporation (APTPC). The new entity was unveiled formally on Nov 1, by re-naming and restructuring AP State Trading Corporation on the basis of recommendation by a panel of experts from IIM, Bangalore. A fillip to industry and trade would be given by establishing trade fair centres and convention facilities in all major cities and town of the State to enable the industry to organise exhibitions and trade fairs on a regular basis. In addition, it would also participate in various global exhibitions from time to time to highlight industry growth in the State.
